Project Description:
The extent of the works included the following:

• Laying of 4.9km of 180mm PE Trunk watermains in the carriageway.         
• Installation of valves, chambers, bulk meters and all ancillary works.           
• The use of directional drilling methods to install the mains under the N18 (Main Galway to Limerick Road) which saved having to open cut this main road and minimised disruption to traffic as a result.                                      
• Installation of a booster pumping station and plant                                       
• Bulk Meter Installations.
